- There is both a quarter turn shutoff and timer inline with the gas line going to the BBQ.
- The gas valve will need to be pointed in line with the line
- You will also need to reach behind the BBQ to turn the timer up to 60 minutes at a time before lighting the BBQ. If you require more time you can turn the timer clockwise prior to the timer ending towards the end of your grilling session.
- To light the grill you need to slowly open the respective valve to allow gas to flow for a second and continue turning, it will get to a point where some resistance is overcome and you should feel/hear the ignitor. If it doesn’t light initially try again. You’re more likely to light on the first try if you perform the light sequence slowly.
